Victory Key & Linkage Premium Synthetic Oil with Needle Tip 0.5 oz is a premium synthetic key and linkage oil in a 0.5 oz bottle with a needle tip applicator, for woodwind keywork and brass linkages.
A needle tip, because key oil that goes anywhere except the hinge rod does more harm than good.
Woodwind keywork runs on hinge rods and pivot screws that need a heavier oil than a valve does. Without it the action gets noisy, then loose, then starts wearing the posts.
The needle tip is the point of this bottle. A drop belongs at the end of a hinge rod where it can wick along the bearing surface. Oil on a pad or on a tone hole rim causes damage, and a bottle without a needle tip makes that almost unavoidable.

Where Exactly Does Key Oil Go?
At the ends of hinge rods and at pivot screws, one small drop each, then work the key so the oil wicks along the bearing. Wipe away anything that sits on the surface. Never let it touch a pad or a tone hole rim.
How Often Should Keywork Be Oiled?
Two or three times a year for a normally used instrument, or whenever the action starts sounding clacky. Over-oiling attracts dust and makes the problem worse, so less and more often beats more and rarely.
