The NETGEAR AV Line M4350 is a fully managed rackmount switch for larger AV over IP systems, adding higher port speeds and redundant modular power to the M4250 feature set.
M4250 intelligence, scaled to a rack and built for redundancy.
- 10G, 25G and 100G uplink options by model
- Modular, field-replaceable power supplies
- Same AV port profiles as the M4250
- NETGEAR IGMP Plus and Auto-LAG
- Front-to-back or reversible airflow
What is the AV Line M4350-8X8F Managed Switch?
Where the M4250 handles a room, the M4350 handles a building. It keeps the AV-oriented interface and profile system but adds the port density, uplink speed and power redundancy a core switch needs. Power supplies are modular, so a failed unit is a field swap rather than a replaced switch, which matters when the switch is carrying a live production.

What are the key specifications?
- 8 10G/Multi-Gig ports, and 8 10GBASE-X SFP+ ports.
- 240W internal power supply.
- Half-width form factor enables one or two switches in a single rack space for redundant top-of-rack.
- Virtual Chassis stacking provides non-stop forwarding (NSF) and hitless failover.
- Layer 3 feature set includes static, policy-based, and dynamic routing.
Why choose NETGEAR?
Running the same AV profile system from the edge switch to the core means one configuration model across the whole plant rather than translating between an AV switch and an IT switch at the boundary.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the M4250?
Higher uplink speeds, greater port density and modular redundant power. The AV interface and profiles are the same.
Are the power supplies replaceable?
Yes, they are modular and field-replaceable. Spares are worth stocking for live systems.
Does it use the same AV profiles?
Yes, including Dante, AES67, Q-SYS, NDI and NVX.
Is a TAA compliant version available?
Yes on most models, for federal and government procurement.
