The Nord Expression Pedal is available in two throw angles, 15 degree and 30 degree, so you can match the pedal travel to how you play.
Same pedal, two throw angles. Pick the one your ankle prefers.
Throw angle is the range the pedal travels from heel down to toe down. It is a personal fit question rather than a quality difference, and it is the reason Nord offers both.
The 15 degree pedal has a shorter travel, so small ankle movements cover the full range. Players who ride a swell pedal continuously through a set often prefer this because it is less tiring.
The 30 degree pedal has a longer travel and finer resolution across the sweep. Organ players who want precise control over a long crescendo tend to prefer it.

Which Throw Angle Should I Buy?
There is no better one, only a better fit.
- 15 degree: shorter travel, less ankle movement for full range, easier over a long set
- 30 degree: longer travel, finer resolution across the sweep, better for slow controlled crescendos
If you are coming from a traditional organ swell pedal, the 30 degree will feel more familiar. If you are coming from a guitar volume pedal or a compact expression pedal, the 15 degree will.
What Can It Control?
Expression pedals on Nord instruments handle organ swell, synth filter and volume sweeps, and effect parameters, depending on how you assign them on the instrument.
What Comes in the Box?
The pedal with its cable. Both throw angles ship the same way and carry the same price.

Why Nord
Nord accessories are designed by Clavia DMI in Stockholm alongside the instruments they serve, which is why the fit charts are exact rather than approximate. A Nord case is cut for a Nord cabinet, not for a size range.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use it as a volume pedal?
Yes, if you assign it that way on the instrument. Expression pedals on Nord instruments are assignable rather than fixed to one destination.
Will it work with a non Nord keyboard?
Most instruments accept a standard expression pedal, but taper and wiring vary between manufacturers. Check your instrument manual before ordering.
Is one more expensive than the other?
Both throw angles carry the same price. The choice is purely about feel.
Can I use a third party expression pedal?
Most Nord instruments accept common expression pedals, but calibration and taper vary by brand. The Nord pedals are matched to the instruments, which removes the guesswork.
Is this a genuine Nord product?
Yes. Victory Musical Instruments is a veteran owned pro audio and musical instrument dealer in Miami, Florida. Every item ships new and unopened in original Nord packaging.
Is it covered by a warranty?
Yes. It carries the standard Nord manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner. Register the unit after purchase and keep your receipt.
