The Nord Single Pedal 2 is a continuous sensor sustain pedal with half damping and pedal noise, assignable to rotor speed or usable as a morph source. It works with the Nord Stage 4, Piano 6, Electro 7 and Grand 2.

The SP2 replaces the switch in a standard sustain pedal with a continuous sensor, so the instrument knows exactly how far down your foot is. That gives you half damping the way an acoustic piano behaves.
It can also be reassigned. Set it to rotor speed for organ work, or use it as a morph source to sweep a parameter with your foot while both hands are playing.
Compatibility is limited to the current generation: Stage 4, Piano 6, Electro 7 and Grand 2.

What Is a Morph Source?
On a Nord, morph lets you tie a controller to a set of parameters and sweep them all together. Assigning the SP2 as a morph source means one foot movement can open a filter, raise a layer and change an effect depth at the same time, hands free.
Will It Work With an Older Nord?
No. Nord restricts the SP2 to the Stage 4, Piano 6, Electro 7 and Grand 2. Older instruments take the Single Pedal 1, which fits every Nord keyboard.

What is half damping?
Partial pedal depression, which lets the dampers rest lightly on the strings instead of lifting clear. It gives a shortened sustain rather than an on or off choice, and it is central to how pianists actually pedal.
Will it work on my Electro 6?
No. Nord restricts the SP2 to the Stage 4, Piano 6, Electro 7 and Grand 2. Older instruments take the Single Pedal 1.
