OBSBOT Meet Flip is an AI powered foldable 4K webcam built around a 1/2 in. CMOS sensor, shooting 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps with phase detection autofocus. Folding the lens shut is the privacy cover, there is nothing to lose or tape over. At 37.7 g it is one of the lightest 4K webcams made, and the unibody stand clips to a laptop or monitor without any extra hardware.

Overview
Most webcam privacy is either a plastic slider that goes missing or an indicator light you have to take on faith. Meet Flip folds. Closing it covers the lens and drops the camera into sleep in one motion, and you can see the state from across the room. OBSBOT Center can also set an auto sleep rule or a custom standby screen for meeting breaks.
The imaging is above what this size of camera usually delivers. The 1/2 in. stacked CMOS gives a wider dynamic range and a lower noise floor than the typical webcam sensor, PDAF locks focus in milliseconds instead of hunting, and HDR keeps a backlit face visible when there is a window behind you.
The other half of the product is software. AI Magic Notes runs transcription and meeting summaries through OBSBOT Center across Zoom, Teams and Google Meet, with 120 minutes included and a subscription after that. Teleprompter, eye tracking and loop recording sit alongside it, and AI auto framing keeps you centered in group, close-up or upper body mode.

How Does the Privacy Cover Work?
The camera head folds down against the body. That physically blocks the lens and puts the device to sleep in the same motion, so the privacy state is visible rather than reported. There is no separate cover to lose and no software switch to trust. In OBSBOT Center you can add an auto sleep rule or set a standby screen for breaks.
What Are the Four Audio Modes?
Directional mode focuses on the voice in front and rejects the rest, which is the one for a solo call in a noisy office. Dual-Directional picks up front and rear while rejecting the sides, for a two person conversation. Smart Omni covers the whole room. Pure Audio passes the raw signal with no processing. AI noise reduction runs across the modes to strip traffic and background chatter.
What Is AI Magic Notes?
Transcription and automatic meeting summaries, handled by OBSBOT Center rather than by any one meeting platform, so the same notes follow you across Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet under one subscription. It does multilingual transcription with speaker identification and pulls out decisions and action items. Every unit ships with 120 free minutes, after which the feature requires a subscription.
How Does It Mount?
The unibody adjustable stand clips onto a laptop or monitor up to 20.5 mm thick, with a recommended tilt range of 0 to 77 degrees and a 180 degree hinge. There is also a 1/4 in. thread for a standard tripod. It shoots landscape, portrait and upside down.
What Software and Platforms Does It Work With?
Plug and play on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Discord, YouTube and OBS. OBSBOT Center handles image and audio settings, the AI features and background replacement, blur and picture in picture.
