The Celebrity Traditional is the heart of the Ovation lineup: the classic center-soundhole roundback in the tier that gets gigged every weekend. The Ovation Celebrity Traditional Plus E-Acoustic Guitar CS24P-NBM, Nutmeg Burled Maple is that instrument. This one wears Nutmeg Burled Maple.
The Roundback, Traditional Style
The body is a mid-depth Lyrachord bowl, Ovation's one-piece molded composite shell. No seams to work loose, no back to crack in a dry winter, and a parabolic curve that reflects string energy forward instead of trapping it in corners. The center soundhole keeps the classic look and the familiar acoustic behavior. The soundboard is a selected figured top, carried on scalloped, quartersawn X-bracing that lets the top move freely while the braces hold their shape for decades.
Sound and Electronics
The roundback voice is articulate and immediate, with a focused low end that stays defined inside a band mix. Amplified, the Ovation Slimline pickup, OP4BT preamp with tuner pairs with the Ovation Slimline pickup, OP4BT preamp with tuner: shape your tone at the guitar, tune silently between songs, and plug into any PA or interface with confidence.
Playability
Scale 642 mm, nut width 42,8 mm. The bowl's curved back settles against your body without a dreadnought's sharp edge, and the neck carries Ovation's fast, low-effort feel.
