Series Description: Paiste Sound Technology stands for first-class manufactured cymbals and high quality sound design at an affordable price. PST7 adds an affordable line for drummers who like a traditional sound, look and feel. PST7's base is CuSn8 bronze which stems from the legendary 2002 series. The cymbals are lathed by our Swiss hand craftsmen to achieve their distinctive traditional look and finish. The result of Paiste's precise Swiss manufacturing is a warm and clear overall sound and by offering three weight classes, light/thin, medium and heavy, PST7 covers a wide range of different music styles. Alloy: CuSn8 Bronze, also known as “2002 Bronze” Size: 18-inches Weight: thin Volume: low to medium loud Stick Sound: velvety, washy Intensity: lively Sustain: medium Bell Character: integrated Sound character: Warm, airy with a pinch of a brilliant sizzle. Fairly wide range, clean mix. Soft, responsive feel. A light crash for mellow accents and crashes in low to moderate settings.

What is the Paiste PST 7 Thin Crash?
Paiste has been making cymbals in Switzerland since 1906, and the house sound is consistency. A model sounds like that model, kit to kit and year to year, which is why touring and session players specify a Paiste line rather than hunting for one good example of it.
