Peavey Aureus 28 is a 28-input, 14-output digital mixer built around a 10 inch multi-touch display, with 9 motorized 100 mm faders, 16 XLR-1/4 inch combo inputs with 48 V phantom power, 10 XLR outputs, AES digital out, Bluetooth and USB, two Peavey FX engines and Wi-Fi remote control from up to 10 devices.

Peavey designed the Aureus so that almost any control is a touch or two away. The 10 inch screen works with 14 dedicated encoders, 45 backlit buttons and 9 motorized faders, so an operator can work by touch or by hand. A built-in dock holds a tablet as a second screen, which lets you watch the whole mix while working on one channel or group.
Setup is fast because the desk ships with presets for channels, EQ, gates, compressors, scenes and shows. Your own presets, scenes and complete mixes save to a USB drive, which makes repeat events like weekly services or a resident band night easy to recall.
Every channel gets a fully parametric 5-band EQ. Effects come from Peavey's FX series, 23 reverb and delay effects across 2 engines with simple and advanced modes. The mix structure runs 8 buses, 2 mains and 4 DCAs, with 3 programmable mute groups.

Who Is the Aureus 28 For?
Churches, clubs, conference rooms, schools and bands that run their own sound and want a digital console that a volunteer or a new operator can learn quickly. Peavey positions it for clubs, houses of worship, conferences and other live sound work.
Can Musicians Control Their Own Monitor Mix?
Yes. Buses can be password assigned, so each musician can open the mixer in an HTML5 compatible browser on a phone or tablet and adjust only their own mix. Up to 10 devices can connect at the same time over the onboard Wi-Fi.
