DJM-V10 is a six channel professional DJ mixer built for booths where two decks was never the question. Six channels with a four-band EQ per channel puts it closer to a live console than to a conventional club mixer, which is exactly what open-format and multi-source performers wanted.
Six channels and four-band EQ, because two decks stopped being the whole rig.

Why Six Channels?
Because performers stopped using two decks. Open-format DJs run multiple players, samplers, drum machines and vocal microphones at once, and a four channel mixer forces constant repatching. Six channels lets the whole rig stay connected.
What Does Four-Band EQ Change?
Standard DJ mixers give three bands. A fourth band splits the midrange, which is where vocals and most instrument content sit, so you can remove a vocal from one source without gutting the whole middle of the mix.
DJM-V10 or DJM-V10-LF?
The LF version has long-throw faders instead of the standard channel faders. Long faders give finer control over level and suit the mixing style of performers who ride levels continuously rather than cutting.
Why Pioneer DJ
Pioneer DJ has set the standard in club and festival booths for three decades, to the point that the CDJ and DJM are what a rider means when it says industry standard. The company builds the whole chain: media players, mixers, all-in-one systems, controllers, turntables, headphones and monitoring, all tied together by rekordbox. It now trades as AlphaTheta, which is the parent company name, with Pioneer DJ retained as the product brand.
