How Is This Different From a Studio Sampler?
The layout and the workflow. Everything is reachable and changeable live, patterns are built and altered on the fly, and it syncs with Pioneer DJ gear over Pro DJ Link. A studio sampler assumes you are sitting down with time.
Does It Need a Computer?
No, it is standalone. That is the point of it in a booth, where a laptop is another thing to fail.
What Can I Do With It in a Set?
Layer drums and one-shots over playing tracks, build live loops and edits, and trigger sequences in time with the decks through Pro DJ Link.
Why Pioneer DJ
Pioneer DJ has set the standard in club and festival booths for three decades, to the point that the CDJ and DJM are what a rider means when it says industry standard.
