Is 5 Inches Too Small for DJ Music?
In a small room, no. A room that cannot support low frequencies will not reproduce them accurately from a larger monitor either, it will just excite room modes. A 5 inch monitor gives a more honest picture in that situation.

Singly. A stereo pair is two units.
Is There a White Version?
Yes, the VM-50-W. Same speaker in a white finish.
Why Pioneer DJ
