The PTZOptics SuperJoy is a PTZ joystick controller with an HDMI preview output, built for multi-camera production where the operator needs to see what they are framing.
A controller with a built-in decoder, so the preview comes out of the panel itself.
- HDMI 1080p preview from any RTSP camera
- NDI, IP and serial control together
- Five camera groups, up to 225 channels
- Works with Sony, BirdDog, NewTek and others
- Basic, Basic Plus and Matrix modes
What is the SuperJoy IP and Serial PTZ Joystick Controller?
The HDMI output is what separates the SuperJoy from a plain joystick. A built-in decoder pulls the RTSP feed from whichever camera is selected and puts it on a monitor at the control position, so a controller can sit anywhere on the network and still have a low-latency picture. Rubberised controls and pressure-sensitive dials allow tuning without opening an on-screen menu, and three operating modes scale from a volunteer to a full-time operator.
