QSC CP8 is a compact 1000 watt powered 8-inch 2-way loudspeaker. It pairs an 8 inch woofer with a 1.4 inch compression driver, reaches 124 dB peak at 1 m with 90 degree axisymmetric coverage, includes a 3-channel mixer and weighs 21 lb in a polypropylene cabinet.
Professional QSC sound in a 21 lb box one person can carry anywhere.
The CP8 runs a 1000 W peak Class D amplifier, 800 W to the woofer and 200 W to the horn, with QSC's Intrinsic Correction DSP and Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) design behind it. The result is a small speaker that keeps its tone at volume and sounds even across the room.
A contour switch on the back gives one-touch voicings including Default, Dance, Floor Monitor and Speech, so the same speaker can play music, cover a presentation or sit at a performer's feet. The rugged polypropylene cabinet has a 55 degree wedge angle for monitor use.
For stands there is a 35 mm pole socket, and threaded inserts allow permanent installation with the optional CP8 Yoke. QSC also makes a padded CP8 Tote and a CP8 Outdoor Cover.

Who Is the CP8 For?
Solo performers, presenters, small churches, schools, coffee shops, fitness studios and DJs who need a light speaker for vocals, playback and speech. It also works as a compact floor monitor or a fill speaker beside a larger system.
How Much I/O Does the CP8 Have?
| Input A | Locking XLR/F 1/4 inch combo, line level |
| Input B | Locking XLR/F 1/4 inch combo, mic or line with Mic Boost switch |
| Input C | 3.5 mm TRS stereo input |
| Mix output | 1 XLR/M, sends the mixed signal to another speaker or system |
| Power | IEC, universal 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz |
Is the CP8 a Good Floor Monitor?
Yes. The cabinet has a 55 degree wedge angle so it can lie on its side facing the performer, and the Floor Monitor contour tailors the response for that position.
