QSC K12.2 is a 2000 watt powered 12-inch 2-way loudspeaker and the largest model in the K.2 Series. It pairs a 12 inch woofer with a 1.4 inch titanium compression driver, reaches 132 dB peak at 1 m with 75 degree axisymmetric coverage and response down to 50 Hz (-6 dB), and weighs 39 lb.
The most output and the deepest low end in the K.2 line, from one 39 lb cabinet.
The K12.2 uses the K.2 Series 2000 W Class D power module, 1800 W to the 12 inch woofer and 225 W to the titanium compression driver. A low-noise, variable speed fan keeps it usable in quiet rooms, and QSC's dynamics processing protects the drivers at full output.
Its 75 degree pattern throws farther than the 8 and 10 inch models, which helps in longer rooms and outdoor events. It stands alone for many shows, works as a powerful floor wedge, and the dual pole cups allow a straight or 7.5 degree down-tilt to keep sound on the audience and off the back wall.
The rear LCD and rotary encoder give access to factory presets such as Live, Dance and Monitor, subwoofer crossover settings, EQ, delay and savable Scenes. QSC's DMT and Intrinsic Correction tuning keep the response consistent across the coverage area with little or no extra EQ.

Do I Need a Subwoofer With the K12.2?
Many events run on K12.2 tops alone, since response reaches 50 Hz (-6 dB). For EDM, hip hop and full band playback, add a powered subwoofer and pick a built-in crossover setting so the K12.2 focuses on mids and highs.

Why QSC?
QSC started in 1968 building amplifiers in a garage in Costa Mesa, California, and grew into a global pro audio company making loudspeakers, amplifiers, TouchMix mixers and the Q-SYS audio, video and control platform.
