3600 watts, an 18-inch driver and built-in cardioid modes.
The KS118 is the high-output 18-inch sub in QSC's KS Series, built for mobile entertainers, AV production and venues. The 18-inch long-excursion driver is direct radiating and powered by a 3600 W peak Class D amplifier for dynamic, musical low end at high levels.
Onboard DSP tunes and protects the system under heavy use. DEEP mode extends sub-bass without risking distortion or over-excursion. With two or more units, cardioid configurations drop low-frequency stage volume, and omni-directional or directional steering lets you shape the bass for the room.
The cabinet is 15 mm birch plywood with a heavy-duty painted finish and a 16 gauge black powder-coated steel grille. It deploys vertically or horizontally, and four smooth-rolling casters on the rear panel make it easy to move.
