Overview

Ambassador Clear Tom Pack is a three-head pack of Ambassador Clear heads in 10, 12 and 16 inch. Ambassador Clear is a single ply of 10-mil clear film, open and resonant with plenty of attack, used as a bright batter head and as the industry standard tom resonant head.

One model across the kit, so the toms sound like a set.

What Is a Tom Pack?

A factory-matched set of tom heads at the sizes a standard kit uses, sold together. Buying a pack rather than three separate heads guarantees the same model across the kit, which is what makes the toms sound like a set rather than three unrelated drums.

Which Sizes Should I Buy?

Match the pack to your shell diameters, not to your old heads. Most kits run 10, 12 and 16 inches or 12, 13 and 16 inches. Measure the shells if you are unsure.

Are These Batter Heads or Resonant Heads?

Tom packs are batter heads, the ones you strike. Resonant heads on the underside are sold separately and are usually a thinner single-ply clear head.

Why Remo

Remo has made drumheads in the United States since 1957, when Remo Belli replaced calfskin with Mylar and ended the problem that had defined drumming until then: a head that changed pitch with the weather. Every major head design since has come out of that company, and the Ambassador remains the most widely used drumhead in the world. Remo also builds world percussion, marching heads and the Acousticon shells used across its drum circle range.
