Revelation Series Professional C Flute is a professional C flute with a sterling silver headjoint, a silver plated body and footjoint, open holes, a split E mechanism, French pointed keys, double bladder pads and a B foot, available with inline or offset G.

The headjoint is the part of a flute that shapes the tone, which is why this instrument puts sterling silver there and keeps the body silver plated. It is the change a player hears first, and it costs far less than a full solid silver flute. French pointed keys, open holes and a B foot make it a professional layout rather than a step-up one.

What Is the Difference Between Inline and Offset G?
On an inline flute the G keys sit in a straight line with the rest of the keywork. On an offset G they sit slightly forward, closer to where the left hand ring finger naturally falls. Offset G is easier on the hand and is the more common choice. Inline is the traditional layout and some players prefer the feel. Neither changes the sound.
What Does the Split E Mechanism Do?
It closes the lower G key independently when you finger high E, which makes that note speak cleanly and stops it cracking. High E is the note that exposes a flute without it.
