Aeros Loop Studio Gold Edition is the expanded Aeros looper, adding two playing modes, 2x2 and 6x6, on top of the standard model. Loops record in sequence to build song parts or in parallel for layered arrangements, and the 4.3 inch touchscreen carries a full mixing mode with colour-coded waveforms and automatic cues.
Two ways to think about a loop, instead of one.
The standard Aeros treats loops as layers stacked on top of each other. That works for building a texture, but it does not naturally handle a song that moves through parts. The Gold Edition adds 6x6 mode, where loops record in sequence as song parts, so a verse, a chorus and a bridge each occupy their own place rather than everything piling into one loop.
The 2x2 mode keeps the parallel approach for players who want layers. Having both means the pedal fits the arrangement rather than the arrangement fitting the pedal.
The touchscreen carries a robust mixing mode, colour-coded waveforms and automatic cues, and built-in effects cover fade in and out, loop decay and track reverse. Backing tracks can be uploaded, loops auto-quantize, and songs save and export.

What Is the Difference Between 2x2 and 6x6 Mode?
2x2 records loops in parallel, stacking layers into a single evolving texture. 6x6 records in sequence, so each loop becomes a distinct song part such as a verse or a chorus. Parallel suits layered ambient work, sequential suits songs with structure.
How Does the Gold Edition Differ From the Standard Aeros?
The Gold Edition adds the two playing modes and an expanded feature set including built-in effects, backing track upload and auto-quantize. The standard Aeros covers 36 loops per song with live mixing and export.
What Effects Are Built In?
Fade in and fade out, loop decay, and reverse track, applied per loop from the touchscreen.
Can I Bring In Prerecorded Material?
Yes. Backing tracks can be uploaded to the pedal, so a loop performance can be built around existing material rather than starting from silence every time.
Why Singular Sound
Singular Sound started with a single idea: put a real drummer's timing and phrasing into a stompbox a solo player can operate with one foot. The original BeatBuddy was funded on Kickstarter in 2014 and the company has stayed narrow since, building the BeatBuddy line, the Aeros looper, the MIDI Maestro and the SuperSwitch as one connected system rather than a scattered catalogue. The products sync to each other over MIDI and share a content library, which is why solo performers and worship musicians tend to end up with more than one of them.
