BeatBuddy 10th Anniversary Edition is a limited edition BeatBuddy in an all-black and gold matte finish, marking ten years of the pedal. Underneath the finish it is the full BeatBuddy: over 220 styles across 24 genres, with fills, transitions, intros and outros triggered by foot.
Ten years of the original, in a finish they are not making again.
The original BeatBuddy arrived in 2014 and defined what a drum pedal could be. The anniversary edition marks that with a limited run in matte black and gold, which is the only thing separating it from the standard pedal.
Everything else is the full instrument. More than 220 styles across 24 genres, dynamic response so the drums answer how hard and how often you tap, and foot-triggered fills, transitions, intros and outros. It brings studio-quality drum content to a pedalboard without a computer in the signal path.
Limited editions do not get restocked. If the finish is the appeal, that is worth knowing before deciding.

Is the Anniversary Edition Different From a Standard BeatBuddy?
The difference is the finish. It is a limited run in matte black and gold to mark ten years of the pedal. The content, controls and capability are the standard BeatBuddy.

What Does Dynamic Response Mean?
The pedal responds to how you play rather than running a fixed loop. Tapping harder and more often changes the intensity of what the drums do, so the arrangement builds and settles with the performance.

Why Singular Sound
Singular Sound started with a single idea: put a real drummer's timing and phrasing into a stompbox a solo player can operate with one foot. The original BeatBuddy was funded on Kickstarter in 2014 and the company has stayed narrow since, building the BeatBuddy line, the Aeros looper, the MIDI Maestro and the SuperSwitch as one connected system rather than a scattered catalogue. The products sync to each other over MIDI and share a content library, which is why solo performers and worship musicians tend to end up with more than one of them.
