The Studiologic Numa X Piano GT is the flagship of the Numa X line, built on the Fatar TP/400 Wood hammer action keybed with three contacts, escapement and aftertouch, in a metal and solid cabinet with solid wood side panels.
Fatar's finest wooden hammer action, sold by the company that builds it.
Fatar builds keybeds for much of the industry. The TP/400 Wood is the top of that catalog, and Studiologic gets it first because Studiologic is Fatar.
Three contacts per key give accurate repeated note handling. Escapement reproduces the mechanical notch of a grand piano action. Aftertouch adds pressure control on top, which is unusual on a fully weighted wooden action.
The cabinet is metal and solid with elegant wood side panels, and carries the redesigned rail system so accessories hook on cleanly.
Studiologic ships the Numa Player alongside the instrument line, so there is a matched software sound source rather than a hunt for third party libraries.

TP/400 Wood or TP/110?
Both are Fatar actions, aimed at different players.
The TP/400 Wood uses real wooden keys with escapement and is the closer match to an acoustic grand. The TP/110, used in the Numa X Piano 73 and the SL MK2 controllers, is lighter and more portable while still fully weighted. If the piano feel is the priority and weight is secondary, the TP/400 Wood is the one.
What Is the Rail System For?
The GT cabinet has a rail along the back that Studiologic accessories hook into, including the magnetic music stand plate and computer plate. It means you can add and remove accessories without clamps or adhesive.

Players who judge an instrument by the action.
The TP/400 Wood is a wooden key action with escapement, and it is heavier and more expensive than the alternatives for that reason. If you are carrying the instrument to a gig several nights a week, the Numa X Piano 73 on the TP/110 will serve you better.
