The Studiologic SL MK2 Magnetic Brackets are a pair of adapters that make the AMS-SL-COMPUTER-PLATE and AMS-SL-MUSIC-STAND compatible with SL MK2 controllers. They are not compatible with SL MK1 controllers.
Already own the original SL plates? This is the part that carries them onto an MK2.
When Studiologic revised the SL controllers to MK2 the mounting arrangement changed. This bracket pair bridges the two, so an existing plate does not become scrap when you upgrade the keyboard.
Fitment is one direction only. These brackets adapt original SL plates to MK2 controllers. They will not fit an MK1 controller and are not needed with the AMS-SL-CP-MK2 or AMS-SL-MS-MK2, which include brackets in the box.

Do I Need These?
Only in one situation.
You need them if you own an SL MK2 controller and want to use the original SL Series computer plate or music stand plate on it. If you are buying new plates, order the MK2 versions instead, which already include the brackets.

Players who already own the original SL computer plate or music stand plate and have upgraded to an MK2 controller.
Do I Need These With New MK2 Plates?
No. The AMS-SL-CP-MK2 and AMS-SL-MS-MK2 already include their brackets. These are only for adapting older plates.
