Triumph Series Bb Valve Trombone is a valve trombone in Bb with a .484 inch 12.3mm bore, an 8 inch 205mm bell and a small shank receiver, available in gold lacquer or with a rose brass bell.

The valve trombone is a working instrument in Mexican banda, brass band, and Indian film and wedding music, where a slide is impractical in a moving line and a trumpet player is expected to cover the trombone part. The Triumph Series valve trombone is built for that job.
Gold lacquer over yellow brass is the standard voice, direct and bright enough to cut through a banda front line. The rose brass bell carries more copper and reads warmer and rounder, which suits ensemble and section work where the horn needs to blend rather than lead.

Who Actually Plays a Valve Trombone?
Banda and mariachi players, brass band and marching lines, film and session players in India, and trumpet players who are asked to cover a trombone part. The valve layout is identical to a trumpet, so a trumpet player transfers immediately without learning slide positions.
What Is the Difference Between the Gold Lacquer and Rose Brass Models?
Gold lacquer is a clear coat over yellow brass and gives the brighter, more direct sound. The rose brass bell has a higher copper content, which reads warmer and rounder. The bore, valves and length are the same on both.
Does a Valve Trombone Sound Like a Slide Trombone?
Close, but not identical. Valves produce clean, articulated intervals rather than the glissando and the characteristic slide legato. In banda and brass band writing that articulation is what the part wants.

School band programs, first and second year students, church and community players, and anyone who needs a reliable instrument that survives a rehearsal room and a bus. Victory builds the Triumph Series to be repaired and maintained by a school tech, not treated as disposable.
