TRC-H High Pitch Rattle Clap is a high pitch vibraslap-style rattle clap built from a hardwood ball striker mounted on a bent steel rod above a hollow hardwood resonator box. Strike the ball or slap the box and the pins inside the chamber rattle against the wood for a long, dry, high-register sustain that cuts through a busy arrangement without adding low end.

The rattle clap belongs to the vibraslap family. The ball is struck against the palm or with a stick, and the energy travels down the rod into the resonator, where loose metal pins vibrate freely inside the chamber. Because the box is wood rather than metal, the tone is drier and woodier than a typical metal-bodied vibraslap, and it sits more naturally alongside congas, bongos and timbales.
This is the high pitch model.
