Valencia VC263HCSB is a 3/4 size nylon string classical guitar from Valencia's 260 Series with a slim hybrid neck, 42 mm at the nut, on a 580 mm scale. It has a Sitka spruce top, arched mahogany back, mahogany sides and a high gloss classic sunburst finish, and it suits younger and smaller players and steel string players who want a classical with a narrower neck.
Classical tone with a neck small hands can actually wrap around.
A traditional classical neck is wide and flat, which is a lot to ask of a young player. The 260 Series Hybrid keeps the nylon string sound and the classical body but narrows the neck to 42 mm at the nut on this 3/4 size model. Valencia reinforces the mahogany neck with Amara ebony strips to keep it straight with the thinner profile.
The 260 Series is built in Valencia's own factory in Surabaya, Indonesia, with details you rarely see at this level: a Graph Tech NuBone XB compensated saddle for cleaner intonation, black ABS binding on the top and neck, side dots on the neck, an Amara ebony headstock veneer and gold plated machine heads with black buttons.

Who Is the Valencia VC263HCSB For?
Children who have outgrown a 1/2 size guitar, smaller adults, and anyone who finds a full classical neck hard to reach. The narrower hybrid neck also makes it an easy switch for players who learned on a steel string acoustic and want nylon string tone.
What Is a Hybrid Classical Guitar?
A hybrid keeps the classical body, nylon strings and sound, but uses a slimmer neck closer to a steel string acoustic. On the VC263HCSB the nut is 42 mm wide, against 48 mm on the standard 3/4 size VC263.
Is the VC263HCSB a 3/4 Size or Full Size Guitar?
It is 3/4 size, with a 580 mm scale. The full size hybrid in the same series is the VC264H, with a 650 mm scale and 45 mm nut.
