Triumph Series Flugelhorn is a flugelhorn with a 151mm two-piece yellow brass bell, an 11mm bore, Monel valves and vertical valve slides with a third valve slide trigger, supplied with a 1F mouthpiece and a case.

The Triumph Series Flugelhorn is a strong option for any player who wants a true flugelhorn voice. It has a rich sound with solid intonation and a light design that is comfortable over a long set.
The third valve slide trigger is the feature that separates a real flugelhorn from a compromise. Flugelhorns run sharp in the low register, and the trigger lets a player correct that while the note is sounding rather than lipping it down and losing the tone.

Why Does a Flugelhorn Need a Third Valve Slide Trigger?
Low D and C sharp run sharp on a flugelhorn. The trigger pushes the third valve slide out with the ring finger while the note sounds, correcting the pitch in real time. Without it the player has to lip the note down and the tone suffers for it.
What Are Monel Valves?
Monel is a nickel copper alloy used for piston valves. It resists corrosion better than nickel plated brass and wears evenly, which keeps the action smooth over years of use.
Can I Use My Trumpet Mouthpiece?
No. A flugelhorn takes a flugelhorn mouthpiece with a deeper cup and a different shank taper. A 1F is included. Forcing a trumpet mouthpiece in wrecks the intonation and can damage the receiver.

School band programs, first and second year students, church and community players, and anyone who needs a reliable instrument that survives a rehearsal room and a bus. Victory builds the Triumph Series to be repaired and maintained by a school tech, not treated as disposable.
