Centavo Silver is a limited edition silver overdrive pedal recreating the most sought-after and heavily counterfeited transparent overdrive ever built, using the same NOS clipping diodes the original depended on.
The overdrive people pay four figures for, in silver.
The Warm Audio Limited Edition Silver Centavo is an accurate recreation of the most sought-after overdrive pedal of the 90's and beyond. Whether you're after the fabled clean boost tones, transparent overdrive, or you want to push your dirty channels to true grit - the Centavo has all of the adored tones of the vintage box. In addition, the Warm Audio Centavo has the infamous MOD selectable on the back. When in the up position, low-end response on the bottom strings is extended. With a true-to-original, custom-cast vintage silver enclosure and the signature sounds of the original, Centavo delivers an exclusive and authentic pedal experience.

What Makes This Circuit Special?
It is a transparent overdrive, meaning it adds gain and compression without reshaping the tone the way a tube screamer does. That is why it became a standard for pushing an already-good amp rather than replacing its character.
Do the NOS Diodes Matter?
The original's character is widely attributed to a specific germanium clipping diode that is no longer manufactured. Warm Audio sourced new old stock parts rather than substituting a modern equivalent.
What Is Different About the Limited Edition?
The silver finish. The circuit is the same as the standard version. Limited runs are not restocked once they sell through.
Why Warm Audio
Warm Audio builds recreations of the classic studio hardware most engineers will never get to own, at a fraction of what the originals cost. The company sources premium components, CineMag and custom transformers, Fairchild-grade capacitors, NOS tubes where the design calls for them, and puts them into circuits copied closely from the originals rather than approximated. It has grown from microphones and preamps into compressors, EQs, direct boxes, guitar pedals and cable.
