The Warm Audio WarmBender features dedicated selectable circuits for delivering two of the most iconic Tone Bender fuzz tones plus a bonus modern tone in one stomp box. WarmBender's NOS 76 setting brings a cutting, present tone to the front of any band, while the NOS 75 delivers that Mark II Professional-style Bender fuzz tone lauded by all the Riff-Lords of the 60s and 70s. WarmBender is made with 100% through-hole construction using NOS Germanium transistors. WarmBender houses two distinct Germanium fuzz circuits plus a third modern silicon circuit for a more smooth, distortion-like tone. With the added SAG control starving the voltage and the smaller pedal footprint, WarmBender is the ultimate Bender fuzz experience.

Which Circuits Are Included?

Warm Audio recreated multiple vintage Tone Bender variants in one pedal, switchable from the front panel. The differences between them are the transistor types and gain structures that fuzz collectors spend years tracking down separately.

What Is the Difference Between Germanium and Silicon Fuzz?

Germanium transistors are softer, warmer and more temperature sensitive, and they clean up more responsively when you roll back the guitar volume. Silicon is brighter, more aggressive and more consistent.

Where Should It Sit in the Chain?

Fuzz normally goes first, straight after the guitar, because these circuits interact with the pickup impedance. Putting a buffered pedal in front changes how the fuzz responds.

Why Warm Audio

Warm Audio builds recreations of the classic studio hardware most engineers will never get to own, at a fraction of what the originals cost. The company sources premium components, CineMag and custom transformers, Fairchild-grade capacitors, NOS tubes where the design calls for them, and puts them into circuits copied closely from the originals rather than approximated. It has grown from microphones and preamps into compressors, EQs, direct boxes, guitar pedals and cable.
