Ferrofish builds digital audio converters in Linz am Rhein, Germany, and is known for putting high channel counts into compact units that run entirely from the front panel. Its converters connect ADAT, MADI and Dante systems without a computer in the middle, which is why they are found in studios, broadcast trucks, theaters and touring racks wherever two audio formats have to meet reliably and quickly.
The range covers the PULSE line of AD/DA converters, from the compact PULSE8 AE to the PULSE16 with ADAT, MADI and Dante options, the high density A32pro converters, and the VERTOpro series of Dante converters and routers. VERTOpro 32 and 64 bring ADAT gear onto Dante, and VERTOpro MX connects dual MADI to Dante, each with a color display, routing matrix and headphone monitoring. Rack kits join half width units in 1U.
